FreeGameHosting is one of the first and biggest providers of free gameservers. We've started in 2011 with providing gameservers for Call of Duty 2 (COD2), Call of Duty 4 (COD4), Counter-strike: Source (CSS) and Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory (ETW). The COD2 and COD4 servers were very populair and we'd have 500/600 players on all our gameservers at the sametime, almost every day. It was good to see that our services were used so much; so we decided to expand with some more games: Counter-strike 1.6 and later Counter-strike: Global Offensive (CSGO).

We decided to add the CSGO game on the same time when the game was released; so our team waited untill the server files came available. We pre-configured our website and after the files were downloaded; we were ready to provide CSGo gameservers. So, we are one of the first providers who'd offer (free) CSGO gameservers to the public; in our opinion pretty cool!

Later we added the games Team Fortress 2 (TF2) and Urban Terror (URT), and in the end of 2017 Garry's Mod (GARRYSMOD) and Left 4 Dead 2 (L4D2).

In our team we've only people who spend their free time to improve our services and to provide support to people with questions or requests. We don't get a big profit, and the profit we'd get from advertisements and orders will be used to improve our services and to pay for our services (also in periods when where is less activity on our platform). All the people also have their own jobs, so profits isn't where we doing it for. We just like to get bigger and provide the gamers good quality (free) gameservers. Most of the people in our crew also have jobs which are IT-related; including Linux system administrators and (web-)developers. And it's cool to use our experiences for this platform, so you'll get a better gaming experience as a gamer.
